Adonne Washington*

Associate Counsel

Adonne Washington is an Associate Counsel for the Digital Justice Initiative at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

Adonne graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law in May 2020. Adonne received her B.A. in Social Relations and Policy with a minor in Public Relations in spring 2017 from Michigan State University. During her time as a law student, Adonne worked as a legal extern with Public Knowledge working on matters of intellectual property, broadband, content moderation, and platform competition issues. While in law school, she worked in the Intellectual Property Trademark Clinic, assisting clients with their trademark searches and completing and filing their USPTO applications. She was an e-board member for the Intellectual Student Property Association, as well as a member of the Black Student Law Association and the Sports and Entertainment Law Student Association where she took part in various events and community service projects. Adonne joined the Lawyers’ Committee as a Fellow in the fall of 2020, and as Associate Counsel in the fall of 2021.
