Washington, DC (Tuesday, March 17) – Today at 6:00pm ET, national, state and Native voting rights leaders will hold a telephone press briefing to provide updates on the problems and challenges experienced by voters seeking to participate in this primary election. Real-time updates and information yielded by the Election Protection 866-OUR-VOTE hotline and partner organizations will be provided.

The impact of COVID-19 on the primary election will be discussed. To date, prior press calls have also shed light on the challenges voters experience at the polls including long lines, malfunctioning equipment, inaccurate requests for ID, and being purged from the registration rolls.
