Problems with voting? Call the Election Protection hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE.

Tuesday, November 6th from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM EDT

WASHINGTON, DC (November 5, 2018) – Election Protection, the nation’s largest nonpartisan voter protection coalition, will host a press conference on Election Day 2018 at its National Call Center headquarters “War Room” in Washington, DC. Following the briefing, journalists will have the opportunity to observe Election Protection staff and trained call center volunteers.

Election Protection has ramped up its efforts to safeguard voting rights across the country through its voter assistance hotlines – available now through Election Day – and through the deployment of thousands of volunteer poll monitors stationed around the country.

Through its 866-OUR-VOTE hotline, Election Protection connects with voters, poll monitors and voter education, as well as its expansive network of national partners and state advocates, to respond to any questions or concerns voters may have.

Anyone who sees voter suppression or misinformation—online or offline—can report it to Election Protection by calling our hotline (866-OUR-VOTE, 866-687-8683) or by tweeting @866OURVOTE. Election Protection can also provide correct voting information and assist with other difficulties voters may encounter at the polls.
