WASHINGTON, D.C. – In observation of the federal Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law (Lawyers’ Committee) and Arent Fox law firm’s pro bono and diversity committees will host a special event to commemorate Dr. King’s tremendous life and legacy.  Lawyers’ Committee President and Executive Director Kristen Clarke will deliver a keynote address, “The Contemporary Civil Rights Movement and the Legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”, followed by a light reception.  The event is free and open to the public.
