Call 866-OUR-VOTE Hotline for Voter Assistance

Election Protection is the nation’s largest and longest-running nonpartisan voter protection coalition which works year round to safeguard voting rights in Missouri and across the country. For the Missouri primary election, the Election Protection 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683) hotline will be available to answer calls live on Election Day. Live support will be available when the polls open at 6:00 am CT until the end of the election at 7:00 pm CT. The Election Protection hotline provides voters with information, guidance and assistance. Staff and legal volunteers help respond to complaints and address obstacles to voting.          

“Election Protection stands ready to help ensure that every eligible voter in Missouri has the opportunity to exercise the fundamental right to vote,” said Kristen Clarke, president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. “Through the Election Protection 866-OUR-VOTE hotline, our network of thousands of legal volunteers and over 200 partner organizations, we are bringing an army of resources to beat back the structural and informational barriers that voters may face. Our goal is to ensure that voters across Missouri know that there is a trusted resource they can turn to with questions or to obtain assistance when voting.”

  • Polls open in Missouri at 6:00 am CT and stay open until 7:00 pm CT.
  • You can find your polling place for the primary election by visiting the Missouri Secretary of State’s website.
  • You can find out what’s on the ballot during Tuesday’s election by visiting the Missouri Secretary of State’s website.
  • In-person absentee voting concludes on Monday, March 9, 2020 and is conducted in the office of the local election authority.
  • Missouri conducts “open” primaries, so voters are not registered with a specific party affiliation.
