Nadia Owusu

Nadia is the General Legal Coordinator at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, where she provides support in several aspects of their work. This support includes—but is not limited to—composing internal and external reports, aiding in the convening of internal and external events, providing administrative, operational and litigation support, and maintaining internal and external relations on behalf of management.

As a former Chief of Staff within Baltimore City Council, Nadia has a wide array of experience in policy, communications, administration, and professional development. She is devoted to serving minoritized communities and formulating a more equitable and just society.

Nadia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
