Armani Eady
National Coordinator, Election ProtectionArmani Eady serves as National Coordinator of Election Protection at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Armani recently earned a Master of Arts in Educational Transformation from Georgetown University, specializing in K-16 advocacy and policy. A scholar, activist, and educator, Armani hails from her hometown of Harlem, New York City.
She is a proud alumna of Loyola University New Orleans where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Throughout her undergraduate career, she served in many capacities as a student advocate. In her freshman year of college, she founded her university’s first multicultural organization for collegiate women of color. In her sophomore year, Armani’s activism was ignited by her passion for diversity and inclusion as she led her university in establishing its first Office of Diversity and Inclusion, to include the installment of the Chief Diversity Officer.
Professionally, she has worked for local and state political offices on issues related to education, housing, and criminal justice reform. In her own words, “In a time where democracy is in need of a radical change, the opportunity to be one of the voices that will help democracy bend towards progress and justice is an opportunity I welcome.” Armani Eady serves as an Election Protection Organizing Fellow at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
