*The African American Land Trust, the law firm of DLA Piper and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law will be conducting workshops for landowners with heirs' property and other land-title problems on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Made possible through a grant to the Lawyers' Committee from PNC, workshops will offer landowners the opportunity to meet one-on-one with volunteer lawyers to discuss problems associated with land ownership and learn more about heirs' property. Local experts from the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources will be present to offer additional information about programs to benefit landowners.
