Intake Questionnaire
The Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law is a non-partisan, non-profit organization formed in 1963 to involve the private bar in providing legal services to address racial and ethnic discrimination. Our organization primarily restricts its litigation work to class actions or policy litigation aimed at producing change affecting large numbers of people.
In terms of litigation, our practice focuses ONLY on the following project areas:
- Community Development
- Education
- Employment Discrimination
- Environmental Justice
- Housing and Lending Discrimination
- Voting Rights
Thank you for contacting the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law with your request for assistance. Please fill out this questionnaire online only if you have a legal problem in any of these areas. Please refrain from submitting any confidential information to us and note that your name and email address are required fields. Once you have completed the questionnaire, be sure to click the "Submit" button.
Please note, submission of an intake questionnaire will not establish an attorney-client relationship. We receive an overwhelming number of requests for assistance and can only undertake representation in a very small number of cases that fall within the scope of our project areas. Furthermore, our litigation work focuses on systemic civil rights abuses aimed at producing policy change and providing relief for large numbers of people.
Your submission of a written request for assistance will not establish an attorney-client relationship. Unless the Lawyers Committee advises you otherwise, the Lawyers' Committee does not represent you and you remain responsible for all of your filing deadlines.
We wish you the best in obtaining a positive outcome in your matter!
