Intake Questionnaire
The Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law is a non-partisan, non-profit organization formed in 1963 to involve the private bar in providing legal services to address racial and ethnic discrimination.
If you live in or around any of the following areas, please submit your intake request to our local affiliate office:
| Boston, Massachusetts |
Los Angeles, California |
| Chicago, Illinois |
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania |
| Denver, Colorado |
San Francisco, California |
| Jackson, Mississippi | Washington, D.C. |
We receive an overwhelming number of requests for assistance and can only undertake representation in a very small number of cases. For that reason, our organization primarily restricts its litigation work to class actions or policy matters aimed at producing change affecting large numbers of people.
We also restrict our work to matters that fall within the following project areas:
| Community Development |
Environmental Justice |
| Educational Opportunities |
Housing and Lending |
| Employment Discrimination | Voting Rights |
Please fill out this questionnaire online only if you have a legal problem related to one or more of the aforementioned areas of work. Furthermore, please refrain from submitting any confidential information to us and note that your name and email address are required fields. Once you have completed the questionnaire, be sure to click the "Submit" button.
Your submission of a written request for assistance will not establish an attorney-client relationship. Unless the Lawyers Committee advises you otherwise, the Lawyers' Committee does not represent you and you remain responsible for all of your filing deadlines.
We wish you the best in obtaining a positive outcome in your matter!
