The Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law is
seeking a creative and innovative Website Editor who is
eager to apply his/her skills and talent to promote the
organizations civil rights work. The Website Editor
will gain valuable practical learning experience in web
development and will enhance the Website Editors knowledge
of civil rights issues. The Website Editor will collaborate
with various Projects at the Lawyers Committee and
with the Webmaster to create enhancements for the website
and to seek out inventive ways to make the Lawyers
Committee website more informative, resourceful, user friendly
and visually attractive. The position requires a commitment
of 15-20 hours a week; hours are flexible.
Duties:
Update & Maintain Website
Design & Create Graphics
Create New Pages as Needed & Rework Existing Project
Pages for Redesign
Enhance Lawyers Committee E-Newsletter
Qualifications:
Education, training and/or experience in web development
& graphic design.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Software Proficiency: HTML; Adobe Photoshop; Dreamweaver
