Joe W. Moore

Mr. Moore is the Deputy Director and Chief Administrative Officer at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law in Washington, D.C. He joined the Lawyers' Committee in 1999. In his capacity CAO, Mr. Moore has primary responsibilities for human resource, training and development, information technology, facilities, insurance administration, purchasing and contracting.

Prior to joining the Committee, Mr. Moore gained valuable experiences in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Moore has a substantial chain of management successes which includes managing contracting departments, managing finance and administration, and managing a human resource department.

Joe W. Moore received his Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, and his Bachelor's degree from Shaw University in Raleigh,
North Carolina.

Mr. Moore is a member of various professional and community organizations.
